“Image Within”- Understanding of personal image with Jessica Kahoon
Jessica Kahoon from “Image within”- A Transformational Leader, Professional Image Expert will help us gain an understanding of personal image.
Jessica Kahoon holds a Bachelors Degree in International Relations and a Certification in Image Management. She is the founder of Image Within a company with the mission to empower, educate and help women boost their self-confidence by harnessing the power of personal image, leadership, and personal development. Her ability to lead, empower and transform women’s personal image is based on the fact that she has been through we own personal transformation and she deploys the tools and strategies that she applied on her own to help women understand how to embrace their authenticity so they can excel to their fullest potential.
Jessica has a strong desire to give back to the community and to empower women and she has partnered with great non-for-profit organizations to assist with re-purposing used good quality clothing after women have de-cluttered their personal closets. Her current adopted charities in Toronto that have benefited from the Image Within Revamp/Donate/Recycle program are “Dress For Success” and “New Circles”, organizations that throughout Jessica’s efforts and coordination, have received thousands of pounds of donated good quality clothing, supporting their mission towards providing clothing to people in need. Jessica has lectured, mentored and coached a diverse group of entrepreneurs and professionals on Image Management, Customer Service, Organizational Change and Effective Leadership as part of her several leadership roles at her former employer Celestica, and through her own consulting practice.
Most recently, Jessica has joined a non-for-profit organization, Job Skills, where she coaches and mentors individuals, to get ready to find their jobs. She does that by preparing and delivering seminars, workshops and one on one coaching sessions around employability, professional networking techniques, cultural business etiquette, and professional presence. She also works in close collaboration with employers, community partners, and employment agencies, helping them solve their staffing needs by identifying and promoting the right talent for their organizations.
